RAPOA Board Elections on October 17, 2015

The Riverside Acres Property Owners Association will hold its annual general membership meeting and board elections on October 17, 2015 at 9AM in the rec area. If the weather does not cooperate the meeting will be held at the Halvey-Goodwin home on Harlow Road. 

You may vote in person at the meeting or you may submit a proxy. Proxies and detailed information will be distributed soon via email or hand-delivered by board members. If you are not a resident, please ask to be on the email list. We will do a limited number of USPS mailings, but expect that property owners will supply an email address to help limit RAPOA costs and volunteer time.

The general election rules are as follows:

1. Each lot in Riverside Acres is allowed one vote per candidate. Example: if there are 3 candidates and you own 2 lots, you may cast 6 votes in any way you like.

2. Your dues must be paid in order to vote.

3. Board members are elected to the board, not to specific positions on the board. After the election the board meets to decide who will fill the available positions. These include president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, committee chairs such as roads and neighborhood watch.
